THE SMEET FROG was the winning indigenous animal in yesterday's poll, followed closely by the charming suggestion of "lightning bug." The idea of a Ypsilanti Lightning Bug Festival completely charms Y. There's a lot you can do with a lightning bug theme.

I thought the window was removed because it was already in poor condition, and that even if restored, it would still not be sturdy enough to remain in its original position.
Isn't the Ladies Library now privately owned?
Well, I'm torn. It sounds like the choice is between putting it in an incongruous place where people can see it, or in the originally designed place where no one can see it.

The Ladies' Library is now privately owned. But I don't see why it can't be viewed there if the owner schedules regular monthly viewing hours.
