THE YPSI CITY COUNCIL last night approved borrowing more money for the Water Street Project, which could raise the cost of the project to 40 million dollars. The project, set up through the county, also needs county approval to proceed.

I'm still holding to my original bet that nobody moves into those new 'residential' buildings.

I personally wouldn't want to live across from car dealerships in Ypsi's red-light district.

Notice the ever rising sur-charge on your water (street) bill? Why does Ypsi continue to borrow money when they're already raking every one? Why not just quadruple the surcharge to fund this disaster?

Well, in all fairness, I have to say the rates did go up in the Twp., too. They went up throughout the area served by the YCUA.
