SOMETHING'S GOING DOWN in the Catherine-Division area. One house on Division near Catherine has yellow "Caution" tape all over the lawn and there are cops parked on Catherine and in the Farmer's Market entrance on Detroit St. One observer said detectives were floating around and wondered if there'd been a murder. I suppose we'll find out, sooner or later.

From my perch at Huron and Main I could see police all over. Ashley and First were both blocked off at Huron. The shrubbery along First was thoroughly searched. Ann Arbor's finest and their K9 partners also searched around the One North Main building. Word was that there had been a stabbing, and the suspect still at large.
Later Friday morning a serious collision occured at First and Huron. An eventful day!
