THE BODY found in Salem Township last week turns out to be a victim of a Detroit-area junkyard guard who used homeless people for target practice.

I phrased that sentence the way I did because I don't think this was entirely an accident. The guy has 65 guns, for Pete's sake. And was found painting his truck.
If it had been an accident, he would have (should have) called police and an ambulance. Not much sympathy for this guy.
One good junkyard dog would have solved the "problem" of homeless people sleeping in junkyard cars--one of the grimmer, more saddening mental images I've come across in a while.

No, no sympathy at all for this guy.
What is this world coming to?

Where's the shelter for these people? No one should have to break into a junkyard to sleep in a car.
