(chuckles indulgently)

Ah, I remember those jejune days when I started my day with hexagons.

Now only a heaping bowl of Schmucks Leathery Icosikaihenagons will do.

With soymilk please.

And 21 blueberries.

I am holding out for the crispy dodecahedrons.

Hold out no more. Getcher crispy dodecahedrons here.

Also, please note in that photo a possible use for marshmallow-drop marshmallows--instead of wasting them!

nothin' beats a rhombus in the mornin', I say

Posted by: gyrovague at 13 april 2006 14:29

That would be the Aberdeen Cut, matey:

"Aberdeen Cut: A rhombus-shaped cut from a block of frozen fish; sides may be squared off or cut with a tapered edge. Usually breaded/battered. Also called diamond cut, French cut."

Yes, sir, gnawing on a piece of frozen fish starts the day out right.

I prefer avian bird flu and toast.

That sounds delightful, Anonymous--and a li'l paprika makes that dish extra yummy, I've heard.

I personally prefer marshmallows cooked on a stick next to a rudimentary log structure for breakfast.

...such as can be had, maybe, at the upcoming Cobblestone Farm "Hey! We're Havin' Loads of Springtime Fun on the Farm!" event April 23.

...to which event yours truly has been invited to again be a historical reenactor, within my meagre powers.

Dust off the day-cap! Air the apron! Time-travelin' time!

(doubletake)

As opposed to amphibian bird flu.
